Question: What forms of participation count as alternatives to speaking in large class groups?

Some ideas (and please suggest others): Speak up in small groups, facilitate discussion in small groups so that other shy people feel their perspective is welcome, add questions to the blog posts via comments, extra discussion posts, an additional blog post, bring food.

Propose something in the forum that would be in the spirit of participating (contributing to the insights, positivity and investment, perspective, and flow of thought in the class).

Working in small groups such as last class should be another form of participation rather than speaking out loud since some students are not comfortable with speaking in front of a crowd.
